
HOW TO REACH MILOS


By plane
Milos can be reached from most international airports via Athens.

Olympic Air operates two daily flights Athens (ATH) to Milos (MLO), departing Athens at 06.15 and 16.20, except Saturdays. On Saturdays only the morning flight is available.
On the way back to Athens the daily departure from Milos is at 07.15 and 17.20 (Saturday only at 07.15)
Please check the accuracy of the above information before you make your final travel plans.
The flying time from Athens (ATH) to Milos (MLO) is approximately 40 minutes.
Book your flight as early as possible as the planesĀ¢ seat capacity is limited.
By boat
Another way to reach the island is by a daily ferry boat service from Piraeus (the port of Athens). The boat trip takes approximately 5-8 hours depending on the ferry and the ports of call.

Daily high speed boats are also available during the summer period leaving from the port of Piraeus. The trip lasts 2,5 to 4,5 hours depending on the ports of call.

Boats to Santorini, Crete and other nearby islands are also available at an almost daily basis during the summer period.
Note for participants coming from abroad
In order to make your travel arrangements please have in mind that an overnight in Athens or Piraeus may be essential depending on the arrival time of your international flight to Greece.
